In this portrait render I am really trying to develop my skin shader setup and lighting techniques.
I am trying to achieve a more ‘softer’ looking skin with more sss. Tho, I think I still have a way to go yet.
I created this render using Poser, 3ds Max and Vray.
I set up the base figure, hair and some of the accessories in poser and exported in to Max.
All materials, lighting, setup, and additional modelling (basic jewelry, hair modifying etc..) was done in Max.
(At this stage I use a mixture of poser models and work done in Max to create my character based renders whilst I work on my organic modelling skills.)
